DSH data
This webpage allows hospitals to upload patient account data as required by the November 27, 2023 letter from Brad Livingston, Chief Financial Officer and Policy. This data will be used by the Department to randomly test uninsured and Medicaid managed care claims of selected hospitals for annual DSH payment calculation purposes for the October 1, 2023 thru September 30, 2024 (FFY 2024) period. This page's functionality may be expanded in the future to allow users to submit other DSH related documents and view DSH information. Users will not be able to view documents uploaded by other users.

Once you have logged in, please click Patient Account Data Upload to upload your data.
The user should clearly identify each file loaded, starting with the hospital name, hospital fiscal year end, and claim file type (e.g. Abbeville County Hospital HFY 2024 IP Uninsured). A separate file should be established for each claim type (i.e. IP Uninsured, OP Uninsured, IP Medicaid MCO, and OP Medicaid MCO).
