Quality and Patient Safety
The Quality and Patient Safety Workgroup is a multidisciplinary team focused on patient safety and quality initiatives from a state-wide perspective. The overall goal of improving perinatal outcomes through integration of national standards, state goals, and evidence-based practice.
Current areas of focus:
- Policy Advocacy
- Payor Reimbursement (low-dose aspirin, 17-OHP)
- Clinical education components needed by the safety bundles through SimCOACH training
